Twinning Project

As Europe is expanding, so is FOHNEU!

In 2002 the FOHNEU Executive Board decided to establish a Twinning Project.

The objective was to approach fellow Occupational Health Nurses in the Accession Countries.

All FOHNEU Board Member are responsible for contact with at least one new Member State.

Representatives in the new EU countries are invited to attend FOHNEU board meetings and to become members of the Federation.
Any queries can be directed to the assigned FOHNEU twin country.

If you are an Occupational Health Nurse from a new EU country and you have any queries about FOHNEU, you can also contact the FOHNEU Secretary.

FOHNEU Fund

What is the FOHNEU Fund: The FOHNEU fund was established following agreement at the 33rd Board meeting in Dublin. The fund is to be used to support groups or associations from member states who may be struggling to provide sufficient funds for their representatives to attend FOHNEU board meetings. All applicants must complete the appropriate application form (Doc.5.).

Applications for assistance to the fund must be made to the FOHNEU Treasurer at least three months before the next board meeting. Applications will be discussed at the Officers meeting and a decision made as to the granting of funding. Funding will provide assistance towards the cost of travel to and from a board meeting. All other costs including accommodation, food, etc will be covered by the delegates group or association.
