
Dr. Henriett Hirdi PhD (Hungary) - President
Elected President of FOHNEU since 2016. She joined FOHNEU at the Board Meeting in Bilbao 2008. In 2010, Henriett was elected as FOHNEU Vice President, a position she held for 3 years.
She also serves as Vice President of the Council of Hungarian Health Professionals (CHHP) from 2010 and also as Chief-Editor of Nővér, the Hungarian Journal of Nursing Theory and Practice.
She qualified as a general nurse in 1995 and as a BSc Nurse in 2001. This was followed by a BSc in Health Care/Service Management in 2003, and a MSc in Nursing in 2004, and a MSc in Legal Studies for Medical and Health Care Graduates. She also qualified as an Occupational Health Nurse Specialist. She received her PhD from the Semmelweis University in 2015.
She received Honorary College Associate Professor title of Semmelweis University in 2019.

Susanna Bonivart (Sweden), Vice-President
Elected Vice President for the period 2021-2024. She has worked as a nurse for 34 years. Working as occupational health nurse since 2018. She joined FOHNEU at the Board Meeting in Budapest in 2010.

Gema Arévalo Alonso (Spain), Secretary
Elected Secretary since 2019. She joined FOHNEU at the Board Meeting in Dublin in 2018.
She is the Head of International Relations of the Association of Occupational Health Nurses in Spain (AET).
She served as Secretary and Treasurer of the AET Federated Association in Madrid (AMET) from 2012-2014 and 2014-2017, consecutively.
She is member of The International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) for the period 2018-2020.
She qualified as general nurse in 1996 at University Autonoma of Madrid (Spain). She studied the Specialty of Occupational Health Nursing in 2004.

Valérie van Gulck (Belgium), Treasurer
Elected treasurer of FOHNEU since 2022. She joined FOHNEU at the Board Meeting in Paris 2012.
Working as occupational health nurse since 1991.
She qualified as general nurse in 1990 in Brussels. She studied the additional formation prevention advisor
Occupational safety level 2 in Leuven in 2001 and the Tailor made IDEWE Management Program at Antwerp Management School in 2008.
She is the co-president of the Association of Occupational Health Nurses in Belgium (BEFOHN).
