Due to health concerns about the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, the 51th FOHNEU Board Meeting will be held remotely.

A guidance, available in the OSHwiki, is designed to assist employers and businesses in providing advice to staff in non-healthcare settings on the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.

Frances Baker, the former President of the Federation of Occupational Health Nurses within the EU (FOHNEU) died on 5 February 2020. She was the first elected President of FOHNEU and a key figure in the development of the Federation.

The FOHNEU Board expresses sincere condolences to her family, colleagues and friends.

The FOHNEU President, Dr. Henriett Éva Hirdi was awarded Honorary College Associate Professor title of Semmelweis University at the Doctor Honoris Causa and Dies Academicus ceremony in November 2019.

The Federation of Occupational Health Nurses in the EU welcomes 2020 as the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife.
